This summer, Gina, Kat and I, three Middlebury students, will travel to Rwanda to intern with the NGO Gardens for Health International (GHI), which is based just outside of the capital of Rwanda. GHI is an agriculturally based NGO that seeks to provide families with the skills and capacity to become nutritionally self-sufficient. Click on their link to find out more!

While in Rwanda, our GROW team will help GHI revise its food security protocol, help graduate a health center (so that it is completely self-sufficient), help prepare for the opening of a new health center, and support research and other projects.

This internship is coordinated through GlobeMed, a national organization of college students with chapters all across the US. (See website fore more details!)
